Meet at the Illecillewaet Campground where we begin hiking at about 8:30am.  A 4-5 hour hike will get us to the Asulkan Cabin which can be supplied with food and gear by our porters.  The afternoon will be spent getting familiarized with crampons, ice axe, harness and basic rope techniques.  After a comfortable night at the cabin the second day has a variety of options, including the summit of Young’s Peak and a traverse of the Asulkan Glacier.  Another night at the cabin will set us up for the third day which can include the summit of Mounts Castor, Pollux and Leda before we pack up and hike back to the highway in the afternoon.
