Commitment to Safety

Safety is our main priority and by hiring an ACMG certified guide, you make the experience as safe as possible. All mountain travel does engender certain risks and we do require that all guests sign a release of liability waiver form before the start of their trip. Please read the following waiver. You will be asked to sign this waiver at the start of your trip.

Booking/Cancellation Policy

To make a booking, please contact us using the Contact Form provided and specify the following: what trip you’re interested in, the number in your party and the dates you’re looking for.  We will get in touch with you to confirm the trip and arrange for payment at that time.

A deposit of 20% of total trip price is required at the time of booking, with the final payment made via wire or e-transfer prior the start of the trip (banking information on demand). Alternatively, payment can be made via personal cheque, payable to Pierre Hungr.

Trip Cancellation Insurance

After we confirm your trip, Rogers Pass Mountain Adventures cannot refund payment or release you from your contractual obligation except in the conditions stated in our cancellation policy below.  To avoid unnecessary cancellation penalties, cancellation insurance is strongly recommended in the event you cannot participate or if your trip is interrupted “for any reason”.  This type of insurance is available from most insurance companies. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns regarding our policy or obtaining insurance.

Medical/Evacuation Insurance

All participants are recommended to have personal, internationally accepted medical insurance for all activities pertaining to your trip, including emergency rescue and evacuation. Please ensure that your insurance covers “roped travel” if you’re booking a more technical trip.  We recommend Travel Underwriters.

Cancellation Policy

Should you need to cancel your booking for any reason, the following cancellation penalties will apply:

  • 60 days before the trip starts: full money back.
  • Between 60 and 30 days prior to trip: Deposit will be forfeited (20%).
  • Less than 30 days before trip: Loss of entire amount paid.
  • Cancellations must be received in writing (email).

Cancellation by Rogers Pass Mountain Adventures

When we confirm your booking, we are guaranteeing that the trip will depart.

  • If we cancel a trip for any reason prior to the start date, a full refund will be provided.
  • If we are forced to cancel a trip partway in which all participants are still willing and able to continue (e.g. due to weather, guide illness or injury), a full refund for the unused portion of the trip will be provided.

Additional Fees

We’re more than happy to tailor custom trips to suit the needs of various clients. Custom trips may involve additional fees, such as driving, accommodation and food costs, as well as surcharges for more technical or longer routes.   Please contact us for details and a full quote.
