Rogers Pass Mountain Adventures (RPMA) is a full-service guiding company that offers rock climbing and mountaineering trips in one of the most spectacular alpine regions of Canada. Our aim is to provide our guests with safe and rewarding experiences they will remember for a lifetime. We believe that the physical challenge of mountain travel and the beautiful places that it can take you inspire the best in people.

Head Guide: Pierre Hungr is a professional mountain guide certified by the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides (ACMG) and the International Federation of Mountain Guides Association (IFMGA). His winter guiding work consists of ski touring and ice climbing in the Columbia and Rocky Mountains. In the springtime, Pierre guides ski mountaineering and ski traverse trips throughout the mountains of BC as well as the French, Swiss and Italian Alps.

During the summers, Pierre guides mountaineering, alpine and rock-climbing trips. He’s had the opportunity to guide and climb throughout Western Canada as well as further afield in Denali National Park, the Wrangell St. Elias, throughout the US and Europe. His summer focus is now his own back yard:  Rogers Pass.

Pierre is a Professional Member of Avalanche Canada (AC), has a Bachelor of Music Degree from the University of BC and is fluent in English, French and Czech.
